A really lovely 1920s engagement ring, modeled in 18k white gold, whose central gem is a lively, half-carat, old mine cut diamond, whichis bead set into the ring's hex-shaped face. This Art Deco era ring is decorated, all-over, with intricate hand-engraving— the shoulders and sides of the ring feature a traditional wheat pattern, while the inter-cardinal points of the ring head are each decorated with an eight-pointed star. The ring's beautiful, festooned, cutwork gallery is furtherengraved with expressive hashes, and its shoulders are set with small, French-cut , blue sapphires. All seats arefinished with a milgrain edge. This ring is low profile, and it is brimming with fine, well-preserved details. It is marked 18k for purity and for the well-known jewelers, Belais.
