An abstract constructivist spiritual carved wood sculpture titled 'The Shrine', made by Polish-American female sculptor Bronka Stern (1909-2002) in the 1950s-1960s. Stern studied under Hugo Robus at Columbia University and was influenced by Moore and Archipenko. She was involved with the National Organization Of Woman Artists. Normal wear, very minor chips and scratches.
